Death of Autotune...WTF

If Jay-z wants to get rid of autotune...maybe he should make a song good enough to persuade ppl to do so. Autotune to me is good for a more soulish kinda sound. Tpain used it almost his whole career.Maybe Jay-z should worry about his own rap persona

Some of these artist include :Lupe Fiasco , Common , and Kanye West. this rappers deliver lyrics that to the untrained ear can not understand . Most people who listen to the such artist as those think that their rapping ability is not up to par . This is a short blog for a reason , I want you all to listen to some of my favorite songs form this people and get back to me.

Big Boom of Rappers

Is it just me or can anyone get a recording deal if they have a dance to go with the song . Now I'm not saying these ppl shouldn't have a music career , but there is 2 different kinds of up coming rappers :

-Free advertising (i.e. Soulja Boy)
-Gimmick (i.e. Dance)


Soulja Boy on the other is different , he used free advertising as his advantage . The only thing that insured that Soulja Boy would not be a 1 hit wonder is that he gave his fans the chance to hear is product before any he even had a deal.
I also think that hip-hop has become too easy to the eye. Most ppl think if you rap and get a deal the big bucks start to roll in. I dont know anymore.

Southern " Trap Music" or new school gangster

Down in the south most ppl have discarded classic sgangster rappers and welcomed rappers such as : Gucci Mane , Yo Gotti (not Erv Gotti ), Lil Boosie , Webbie , Plies , and newly welcomed artist Oj Da Juiceman ( not Juiceman of 3 6 Mafia ) . Now we live in a drug era so most likely if you search each of these rappers you'll find a gangster , yet subtle southern sound. Mostly up tempo beats with a southern signiture flair . Now just because you might be from a whole different part of the world ,but dont be intimidated by their progression of music . Matter of fact my going to let u vote on who has the style and talent to stay longer in the hip-hop world.
